Two cities - Nowy Sacz and Tarnow, universities and the biggest companies from the cities signed on 26th April an agreement under which they will collaborate in the development of Centre for Innovation and Technology Park EduTechMed in Malopolska Province. The next step will be to develop a model of cooperation to generate and implement innovations more closely on the needs of the economy and the regional administration. The aim of cooperation of the entities is to create a strong growth pole of innovation, innovative economy in the Malopolska region.


Among the signatories to the agreement there were Krzysztof Wnęk from Multimedia City Technology Park, representatives of the City of Nowy Sacz, Higher School of Business - National Louis University in Nowy Sacz (WSB-NLU), Foundation for the Development of Education and Science and Technology Park of Tarnow, Chamber of Commerce in Nowy Sacz, as well as companies such as Wisniowski Group, Fakro Sp. z o.o., Novitus SA, BVS Poland Sp. z o.o., Dr. Zaber Sp. z o. o. and Mountain-Stal Sp.z o. o.

The contracting parties undertook to determine their interest in specific areas, specific projects and actions, and the material and intellectual contributions within two months. The open nature (especially for institutions operating in Malopolska South-East) of the contract is worth emphasizing.
